I am an American so I do not know if this works anywhere else... Always remember that the key to solving a scam is information. IP headers are good. Flowers to an address are good when the the ID is confirmed with a photo sent to you via email. Verifying a domestic passport with DOB and name with the local police to discover the registered address helps. But if you want your money back simply go to small claims court. The claim is that the person never received the money. Simply send a subpoena to the company or bank who completed the transaction with your complaint. You will receive an unredacted copy of the receipt. It has a lot of information that can be used to track the scammer. Worst case is that the defendent never shows and you win a judgment by default... It worked for me and I found the scammers parents address. What a surprise!!! Shame and threats of police torture while detained worked like a charm. But it did cost a few $$. I am receiving small payments for the rest of my life. LOL Stop complaining and do something about it. Even if the scammers pay the police they will be afraid of the court and the police if you also grease the authorities. It depends on how angry and determined you feel. No luck involved. Do not trust anything except your instincts. You know what your stomach feels like just before something F%*ked up is about to happen. TRUST THAT! eMail me if you are serious about creating a plan and are traveling to the FSU anyway. That is the only way to do this right.

HA HA HA HA CHECK THIS http://jimslists.com/agencies/hanuma.htm and you understand whome you are going to support!!!!
Ansewr from Anti-scam.org
This is not the first time we get questions concerning listing of Hanuma Net web-sites in Jim's list. Here's the reply: we do not know why, but Jim doesn't like our owner, Oleg Syedyshev - they have never met personally, Jim knows nothing about the way we work, and didn't ever asked us about it. Perhaps, it is because Jim is friendly with Angelika.net (Larry Gucciardo and David Stickney) who have had some misunderstandings with Oleg in the past. What is written in the "report" at Jim's list is not true. We would like to see some evidence given by Jim - but he doesn't give any on his web-site... He thinks himself the highest authority, the person who knows absolutely everything about scam... but how can he? Perhaps, he is blacklisting his competitors? or whitelisting the agencies that pay him? Whatever... he does what he does, and we are not going to try to find his real reasons for it... If you have noticed, we do not have a blacklist of agencies, we consider only individual scammer reports with solid proves like scam-letters, copies of western union, fake photos. You have general information about scammers available, enjoy search by names, cities, and countries; it is not a must to be a member: you do see a photo of a scammer and you do know she is a scammer because she is on the anti-scam web-site.

Hello out there…. Have been using the internet almost since it was up and running.
I have had a profile on yahoo for the past 5 years now, and have been hit by every type of scam there is out there in one form or another. I have also traveled quite extensively in Europe and Russia, and believe guys, there are lots of very hot and beautiful, and sexy women in these places and they have NO trouble finding men. In a lot of ways, the put our American girls to shame with their aggression, and flirtation, and again, they have NO Trouble getting a man if they want one, so why are out there looking for you???
Here is some good advice to help getting the e-mails that start it all.
1) Stay out of the chat rooms. Most chat rooms today are filled with nothing but “cam girls” anyway, and the minute you click there link you go into the system as “a lonely guy” so stay out of them. The same thing if you answer the letters and respond to the IM’s you get from some “hottie babe” that you don’t know.
2) Change your profile around so it doesn’t have all the details about you. Where you live and the type of job and income level you have. Predators like these “scammers” are looking all day and night for these profiles and target them.
3) If you should be hit up by one of these “scammers”, rights of the bat ask for a phone number and address. You won’t get one, and they will tell you things like I have no working phone and have to use the “internet café”. Again, I have traveled to these parts of the world, and they are not as poor as they will have you believe. If they work, they have a phone and internet at home. Period. So just, don’t respond to them. One of the things that you will notice about the photos is that they all seem to be taken by a “professional”. If they can afford that, they can afford a phone and internet, so don’t be fooled by young, hot, sexy woman, claiming that they are looking outside their Country for a man.
4) Never, never, never, send money. You will drain your life savings if you think that a woman whom you have never met, or have talked to on the phone, or is willing to provide you with a real live address and contact phone number, like at her work, is out for nothing else but YOUR MONEY. Let’s face it, if I was your Brother and on life support, you would be still very “stingy” with giving it to me, so WHY in God’s name would you send it Western Union to someone you have never seen. Here’s a little clue. Like I have said, I have traveled extensively to these countries, and have seen women over there that live better than I do, (I make over 250K a year by the way) by doing nothing more than sending out thousands of these “letters” to guys a week. It a numbers game, and they will end up with about 50 or so per month. The really good “scammers” are very careful about the letters they are sending, your beginners are not, and that why you will get a letter with the wrong name or get the same letter two or three times in a row. Most of these letters have been pre-written and are on a disk, numbered for them to use. Guy’s I have seen this first hand, and some of them are making over 50,000 US a year. Now in a country like Russia let’s say, that’s equal to 250,000 US here. Get the picture.
5) The African, Nigerian 419 operate a lot differently, but the idea is the same. They will contact you via e-mail and tell you that you are a late relative that just died and was a “client” of theirs, and need your help with the transfer of some really huge amounts of money. Hello…you would know if you have a rich relative get killed, especially in some God forsaken place like Africa. Again, don’t respond to them, these guys are VERY, VERY, GOOD!!!!!! In fact, they have convinced people to travel to them to “collect” there so called “inheritance” and have NEVER been seen again. Don’t give them ANY information about yourself, in the way of home or work addresses, phone number of any kind, and here’s the big one that people do all the time, NEVER give your Social Security Number to ANYONE. Have you heard of “Identity Theft”???
I hope this helps someone out there in preventing of being scammed, and if you think that “How could this really drop dead woman be interested in me????” She’s not….just your money

I'm here, because I believe I've been scammed. Not by a individual, but by a agency.I meet this girl though Anastastiaweb.com.We started our correspondence back in Aug. of 2005. It started out were we got to know each other. We had so much in common. This was so unbelieveable for me.I couldn't believe that I had meet my one and only, and the one that my heart desired. It was like God had send me a angel from the heavens.I had this wonderful feeling inside of me.Something that I never had before.I didn't want to rush our relationship or say something that would scare her away. After a month or so,I know she was very interested in me.We started to get more serious about each other. We got to a point were we could trust each other and open our feeling to each other.Everything was going great for us.I give her a nickname.I called her Angeleyes, because she had the most beautiful eyes that I have ever seen.I could tell something wonderful was happening to her,by the sound of her voice when we talked on the phone and the way she express herself in her letters. Then one day she wrote me a special letter. She said that she has fallen in Love with me and I told her that I felt this way for awhile now.She wanted to meet me in person and I wanted to meet her.We made plans to be together on New years eve and for me to meet her family. My beautiful Anna lived in the Ukraine and I lived in Canada. We were both very happy with each other, even though we couldn't be together every day.I asked her what her family thought about me and our age.She was 22 and I'm 35.She said it didn't matter, because we loved each other and that one day our hearts will be one.I couldn't hardly wait to meet her. Then a few days before Christmas,I recieved a call from her.Her dad had pass away.I felt so sad and felt so bad because I couldn't be there at that moment to hold her. Then on Christmas day,she phoned to say Merry Christmas and to thank me for the present.I asked her if she wanted to meet on New years eve.She said it would be wonderful, but right now won't be a good time to come,I understood. So,we made plans to meet in April of this year. Her birthday was in April and I wanted to be their on her birthday. We keep on writting and talking to each other on the phone and our feeling for each other never changed. But later on I had a feeling something was wrong,in the way she express herself when she wrote and when we talked on the phone.I believed with the passing of her dad,her schooling and her job, that the pressure was getting to her.And not having me thier to comfort her.I know, looking back now,I should of left here to go and be with her.But I had my reasonably to look after. Then one day She wrote me and said she had to go away for a while and that we would phone me when she gets back. She said she loved me and her feeling for me would never change. This is the last time I heard from her and this was back in March.I tried reaching her on her phone with no luck.I Tried reaching her though her agency were she wrote her letters, but got no responds from them.I talked to my agencies about this and they informd me that the agencies she was dealing with, canceled all ties with them.I find this strange and When I asked question,I never got a straight answer. To this day,I believe that the letters I recieved from Anna and the phone calls we had, was all a set up. This way the agency would have me purchase tokens so I could read her letters and send her letters. And each time I phone her,I would be charged for the phone calls. All together I spend over a 1,000.00 dollars.Thats way I don't trust these agency any more.I have to say that Anna had never ask for any money from me.But after doing some checking and hearing other bad experience with Anastastia Web.I truly believe, that I was scammed by this agency.
